Family Hostel? The somewhat different family hotel
The idea came about when we spent a few holiday days together with friends and their families at our group home (Relais de Dranse in Liddes). The children's eyes sparkled and Marin appealed to his mother, "Mum, I really want to come back here soon". The mums and dads were also extremely relaxed, as the small crowd of children had entertained themselves very well.
At the Family Hostel you meet other families with or without children. Together we go on excursions, play games and cook delicious meals. The St. Bernard region offers countless opportunities for families.
You will meet new and familiar faces. You don't have to do anything and you can do a lot! The somewhat different family hotel!
Our region has a beautiful mountain world. With the St. Bernhard Pass (29 Fr. for the whole summer - 70 Francs for the whole year including 3 small but nice skiing areas) you get attractive reductions on various activities .

So, how was it?
I never thought family holidays could be so relaxing! The children totally well-behaved after being allowed to experience so much all day. The husband satisfied and challenged (he won at the chess tournament). There is no price for that. You can't get that at the Palace in St. Moritz either!
Stefanie Rieben
I was there with my family... Unbelievable that I was able to experience this! I'm sure it's as historic as Woodstock!
Lisa Meier
Really cool. I haven't felt this young and vital in a long time! We danced and celebrated so much
Meret Zurkinden
My husband is friends with the organiser. He said let's try it out over New Year. I was very sceptical. Family hostel? Celebrate together? Hmm? And it was so good! So family like! Or almost like when we stayed in a backpacker in Thailand...
